You'll report to the Senior Engineer Manager as part of an agile and collaborative team of developers.Work with other mobile app developers and our back-end team to deliver new features intended to improve retentionIdentify challenges in the development process to reduce developer frictionParticipate in architecture discussions and help improve the foundation of our mobile platformWhat You Should Have:3+ years of software engineeringProficient in Kotlin (Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus)Proficient in Android DevelopmentAdvanced debugging skillsExperience using Jetpack ComposeCollaboration and partnership skillsTools We Use:Kotlin MultiplatformSwiftJetpack Compose, XML, Compose MultiplatformGoogle Maps SDKCoroutines, MVIDependency InjectionLocation:This hybrid role is based in our Austin, Chicago, DC, or NYC office. In-office attendance is required on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and may increase based on project-based needs and changes to Upside’s in-office policy over time.Compensation:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 - $175,000 + equity + benefits. The final starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
