This job is located in Warroad, MN. If you're considering relocating to Warroad, you may be eligible for a relocation benefit package to assist with your move.  

 

Highlights of your role:

• Lead the development and design of moderately complex components and products, ensuring alignment with performance, fit, form, and function requirements.  

• Define key design parameters, tolerances, and test methods to validate concepts and meet product standards.  

• Oversee prototyping activities using shop tools, 3D printing, and other techniques to evaluate feasibility and refine designs.  

• Lead and review CAD modeling and drawing creation, ensuring alignment to standards and clear communication of design intent.  

• Manage documentation workflows using Electronic Change Notice software and maintain technical specifications for key collaborators.  

• Mentor team members on design guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.  

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):

• 5+ years of experience in product design and development  

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in design is preferred  

• Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling software (Inventor preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite  

• Experience collaborating with external suppliers to achieve design goals  

• Proven record of success on complex product development and improvement projects  

Also want to make sure you have:

• The ability to mentor others and foster collaboration across teams.  

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.  

• Familiarity with document control systems and engineering change processes.
