SB Experiential (SBX) is a growing experiential event marketing agency based in Cornelius, NC, specializing in providing interactive brand experiences at the largest sporting events and festivals in the U.S.—including the Super Bowl, Formula 1, NCAA Final Four, ESPYs, NFL, PGA, MLB, NASCAR, and more. SBX is seeking a Senior Production Manager (Events) to help lead and execute our clients’ experiential marketing programs. This role demands a seasoned event professional, particularly someone with experience executing tech-focused programs, and someone who thrives in high-pressure, live environments where quick thinking is essential.

This is a dynamic role where time & duties will be split across Event Production & Project Management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can bridge the gap between client management and on-site event execution.

What is the Job: Project Management Responsibilities:

• Lead all program deliverables post-sale, including kickoff meetings, timelines, sourcing, and client reviews.
• Serve as the primary communication bridge between clients, internal teams, and other vendors.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure flawless execution.
• Deliver post-event recaps with program insights and recommendations.
• For larger events, lead a small team to execute, ensuring the highest level of production.

Event Production & Technical Execution:

• Travel to events as the on-site technical lead, managing installations, overseeing hardware & software, and leading live troubleshooting of these elements.
• Configure and adjust hardware and software based on the event environment (internet connections, power needs, etc.).
• Work with custom software to configure event-specific settings and ensure reliable functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in real time, thinking on your feet to deliver seamless client & guest experiences.
• Lead and work with additional vendors on-site and mentor junior team members in event & technical best practices.
• Prepare event documents, assist with shipping logistics, and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Set up and test all hardware and software pre-event.

What is Expected:

• REQUIRED 3+ years of experience in technical event production or live experiential brand activations
• Strong background in working with computers, media capture (video and/or photo), computer networking, and AV systems.
• Experience installing hardware at events.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting event challenges under live event conditions.
• Proven ability to manage clients and vendors in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20-30% travel).
• Willing to work event hours, which can include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable lifting and maneuvering equipment (50-70 lbs).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Sheets, etc.)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
