Senior TIBCO BusinesEvents Developer

Employment Type: Contract to hire, W2 only

Location: Downtown Chicago (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior TIBCO BusinessEvents Developer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on expertise in TIBCO, Java development, and modern cloud-native technologies. This role requires an in-depth understanding of TIBCO BusinessEvents architecture, rules-based event processing, and integration within a hybrid enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is a full-stack developer comfortable navigating both legacy systems and modern frameworks, including mainframe systems, SAP, and front-end technologies like Angular and React.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient TIBCO BusinessEvents (BE) solutions.
• Implement complex event processing workflows to support real-time decision-making across business systems.
• Customize and extend TIBCO applications using Java and integrate with various APIs and data sources.
• Develop cloud-native applications and microservices leveraging containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI solutions using Angular and React.
• Interface with mainframe applications and support data exchange between legacy systems and modern platforms.
• Work on SAP integration projects, ensuring seamless data flow and business process alignment.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and deployment processes

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in TIBCO BusinessEvents (BE) with strong hands-on implementation skills.
• Strong Java development background, including object-oriented design and integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud-native development and deployment in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Proficient in Angular and React for UI development.
• Working knowledge of mainframe systems (e.g., COBOL, JCL, DB2) and data migration strategies.
• SAP integration experience, particularly in ERP and business process modules.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and event-driven architecture (EDA).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• TIBCO Certified Professional is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, or similar messaging frameworks.
