Senior Structural Engineer - Civil Infrastructure

Location: Manhattan, NY

Salary: $150,000–$250,000

The Role

• Perform structural analysis and design across reinforced/pre-stressed concrete, steel, timber, deep foundations, retaining structures, and rigging/crane pick plans.
• Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards and client requirements.
• Prepare calculations, engineering reports, and draft construction drawings for the design team.
• Contribute to key projects in heavy/highway civil construction, ensuring exceptional quality and performance.

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in structural engineering, including bridges and heavy civil works.
• NY or NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license (NY preferred).
• Proficient in finite element analysis software (MIDAS or RISA) and Excel/Mathcad.
• Thorough understanding of industry codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, and AISC Steel Specifications.
