We are looking for a talented Senior Sustainability Project Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania . The Sr Sustainability Project Manager will leverage opportunities in the capital project planning, design, and construction phases towards measurable KPIs to reduce energy, emissions, water, and waste intensities. You should be technically and analytically minded, and able to articulate ideas and concepts, using research of proven strategies and the latest technologies to guide fellow colleagues and partners toward innovative designs. You should also understand the nature of change management and be prepared to defend ideas and earn buy-in, among both colleagues and clients. Responsibilities Represent the IPS Sustainability function on capital projects. This includes facilitating goal setting, budgeting, and establishing and managing project work plans for self and junior team members across design and/or construction. Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities and feasibility for sustainable design, construction, and operational strategies. Focus areas include energy/emissions, water, materials, waste, and health & wellbeing. Be a generalist in the broad topics that Sustainability influences in the built environment, but sufficient basic technical knowledge to manage quantitative deliverables. Be a strong subject matter expert for at least several relevant focus areas (i.e. energy, waste management, materials, civil, etc). Manage teams and deliverables for rating systems like LEED and WELL/Fitwel. Facilitate and analyze data and metrics for internal and corporate reporting requirements of frameworks such as CDP and Ecovadis. Research the latest advances in sustainable technologies for general building design, construction and specialized manufacturing processes. Organize information in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing fashion, collecting, and developing lessons learned and case studies. Promote the advancement of the green building industry, collaborating with local and national industry groups and participating/presenting in conferences and webinars. Qualifications & Requirements 10+ years of industry experience in design, engineering, consulting, project management, or construction 5+ years of experience in a Sustainability-focused role Experience in the life-sciences or manufacturing sectors Bachelor's degree in a relevant field LEED AP with specialty and experience on LEED projects Experience in energy analysis Experience in evaluating sustainable material attributes Experience in waste management and infrastructure Strong written and verbal skills, able to communicate in a concise, clear and compelling manner (role will be client-facing) Enthusiastic and resilient, innovative and technically grounded Preferred Qualifications (not required) Master's Degree in a related field, or relevant advanced training WELL AP or Fitwel Ambassador CEM or CxA Energy modeling experience Experience with Revit and other CAD tools Context, Environment, & Safety Travel duration, if any, is based on the frequency of relevant conferences or meetings with key company and/or client stakeholders. This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas.
