Senior Tax Accountant

Our client is one of Tampa Bays leading CPA firm that has been in business for almost 50 years and looking to bring on a Senior Tax Accountant. With recent growth and projected future growth there is serious potential for upward mobility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT:

• The Senior Tax Accountant will oversee the efforts of multiple client engagement
• Successfully contribute in client service relationships and strive to develop specific knowledge of the client's business and industry.
• Interacting closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise.
• Manage the client's tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and recognize tax planning opportunities.
• Work closely with other team members on client management, practice development, and business development activities.
• The Senior Tax Accountant will help develop positive relationships with client personnel.
• Identify potential opportunities for new and/or extended client services.
• Perform other essential duties as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE FOR THE SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT:

• The Senior Tax Accountant should have a BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university
• A CPA or on the path to get certified.
• Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting procedures
