Automotive Service Manager
Salary: $50,000–$75,000 annually (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday and some Saturdays
A reputable automotive company in the Wausau area is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to lead daily operations of a busy service department. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality service and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction
Lead, train, and support service advisors and technicians
Maintain high standards for customer communication and service quality
Schedule workflow and manage repair timelines effectively
Monitor department performance, productivity, and profitability
Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
Coordinate with other departments to support overall dealership operations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in automotive service management or a senior service advisor role
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of automotive repair processes and service operations
Proficiency with computer systems and service management software
