Sheet Metal Fabricator (No Welding)

$20–$24/hour (DOE)
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Dave’s Sheet Metal is a trusted name in the roofing and metal fabrication industry. We specialize in roof edge metal, custom flashing, and specialty metal products for residential and commercial roofing clients. All our products are proudly made in the USA in our Dracut, MA facility.
We’re growing our team and seeking a meticulous, hardworking Metal Fabricator to help produce top-quality sheet metal components — with no welding required.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on manufacturing role focused entirely on sheet metal fabrication and finishing. You will work with power shears, press brakes, roll formers, and assist in boxing and crating product for shipping. We will train on the specific equipment and processes — what matters most is your drive, mechanical aptitude, and dependability.
Core Responsibilities:
• Operate fabrication machinery: power shears, brakes, roll formers
• Accurately measure, cut, bend, and shape metal components
• Assist with packaging, boxing, and crating finished items
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized shop environment
• Perform basic quality checks on fabricated parts
• Use forklift or pallet jack (forklift certification is a plus)
• Collaborate as a strong team player to meet production goals
Qualifications & Traits We Value:
• Prior experience in metal fabrication, machining, warehouse work, or construction/trades a plus
• Very strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Basic mechanical or tool experience; can read tape measures, gauges
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced shop
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to get certified)
Compensation & Benefits:
• $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience
