Job Description

We are currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving/Warehouse Associate  with experience in Sage 100, ConnectShip or WorldShip experience, manual counting, data entry, and forklift operation.

Job Responsibilities

1. Shipping and Receiving :
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments using systems like ConnectShip and Sage 100 preferred, Oracle NetSuite, SAP, etc.
• Prepare shipping labels, documentation, and ensure compliance with carrier requirements (e.g., FedEx, UPS).
• Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies.
• Coordinate international shipping documentation as needed.
2. Inventory Management :
• Perform manual counting of inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Update inventory records in Sage 100 or other warehouse management systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
3. Warehouse Operations :
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials safely.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of fragile or bulky items.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
4. Data Entry :
• Input shipment details, inventory updates, and order information into systems like Sage 100.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, shipping status, or order fulfillment.
5. General Duties :
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot issues with shipping systems or inventory discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Sage 100 for inventory management and ConnectShip for shipping processes.
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse machinery.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for manual counting and data entry tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and automated tools like barcode scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding environments.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external carriers.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of international shipping procedures.
• Experience with multi-carrier shipping platforms like ConnectShip.
• Experience in Sage 100 for tracking inventory flow.

This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, timely shipments, and efficient warehouse operations. Candidates should be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
