MEMCO is hiring for Skilled Construction Workers/Scaffolders in Savannah, GA!!

Full-time and long-term

Hours: 7am-5pm; Monday-Friday with OT available

Pay: $18/hr BOE

FULL PPE, including Steel-toed boots

MEMCO is looking for Skilled Consruction Workers to join our customer's team and contribute to their ongoing success. As a Skilled Construction Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction projects by performing a range of tasks related to scaffolding installation, maintenance, and dismantling. We are seeking individuals with experience in construction and a strong understanding of safety practices .

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the assembly, installation, and dismantling of scaffolding systems on job sites.
• Perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, and shaping materials according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections of scaffolding to ensure stability and safety.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and promote a culture of safety.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a construction worker, preferably in scaffolding or related fields.
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• MUST HAVE FULL PPE, including steel-toed boots.

This is a Temp to Hire position.

A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position.
