We are looking for an enthusiastic intern that seeks to learn more about marketing. As a Social Media Brand Ambassador intern here at Louisiana Downs Casino and Racetrack you will be involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting our products and events through various media channels. You will work closely with our marketing division to achieve goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of our products to guests, tracking feedback, and representing the brand at launches and events.

You will need excellent communication, networking skills, and a strong understanding of social media.

Brand Ambassador Intern Opportunities and Skill Sets to Gain:

• Familiarizing yourself with our company’s mission, vision, and values.
• Working closely for our marketing department to conceptualize marketing campaigns and strategies.
• Educating our guests, vendors, and distributors about our products/offerings.
• Creating website and social media content to drive brand awareness and attract new guests to our property.
• Building rapport with guests, vendors, and team members.
• Monitoring feedback and escalating complaints to our Director of Marketing.
• Tracking guests’ preferences, metrics, and media campaigns.
• Representing the company at product launches, events, and other social engagements.
• Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops.
• Maintaining a positive image of our brand at all times.

Brand Ambassador Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
• Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
