About Us:

Lingvanos mission is to teach hearing people about Deaf culture and sign languages, in order to break down language barriers with Deaf people. Having already passed 3 million learners worldwide, we are looking for a freelance or part-time marketing coordinator to help us manage our social media marketing campaigns!

We are open to Deaf and hearing applicants, with a strong preference for someone who is involved in the Deaf community.

What you will do

• Share insights and new trends happening in American social media, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.
• Support our team in coming up with new ideas for social media organic and ad campaigns, based on what has been working so far.
• Learn our brand and community standards and guidelines and review/provide feedback on new posts and creative to ensure our marketing meets our internal standards, as well as standards from the Deaf community.
• Help develop new brand and community standards and guidelines including serving as a representative from American Deaf community.
• Support our team in reviewing comments and post engagement activity on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

What you should bring:

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
• A personal connection to the American Deaf community and culture.
• A strong understanding of the American social media landscape and emerging trends.
• A background in digital marketing, advertising, or social media.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Strong written communication skills.

Position Details:

• This is a freelance or contract position.
• The gross minimum hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
