Join to apply for the Sous Chef | Ryder Cup Grille role at Omni Hotels & Resorts Job Description Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Executive Sous Chef, ensuring effective operation of the kitchen and food production outlet. Manage the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the restaurant operation to ensure a quality, consistent product that conforms to Omni Standards. Lead and develop associates through scheduling, training, coaching, counseling and performance reviews. Monitor, analyze and control labor and food costs; prepare reports and schedules to meet budget targets while maintaining quality. Assist the Executive Chef in menu creation, costing and implementation for outlets, banquets and seasonal specials. Maintain kitchen operations including staff scheduling, food returns handling, sanitation, equipment maintenance and compliance with health codes. Support Medallia food quality score and execute kitchen sign‑in/sign‑out procedures. Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous culinary leadership experience; proven leadership skills and ability to train, develop and motivate staff. Creative and up to speed on new concepts and food trends. Experience managing schedules, inventory, payroll, service recovery and associate relations. Strong communication skills in English; high organizational skills; ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs. and work variety of shifts including weekends and holidays. Must be a Safe certified food manager and able to use culinary tools (knives, equipment) effectively. Proficient with computers. Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
