Position: Massage Therapist

Reports To: Spa Operations Coordinator

Job Purpose: To provide the highest level of massage or body treatment in a calm professional manner.

Job Summary: Our mission is to encourage relaxation and stress relief in a comfortable, serene atmosphere, by keeping our guests needs first.

Salary: 25%-28% commission and 20% auto gratuity

Duties

  • Assist other staff members as needed, obtain detailed client intake form, have basic product knowledge for product recommendation, maintain confidentiality of all spa records and systems.
  • Service all guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform all technical services to the absolute best of your ability, maintaining guest comfort and safety at all times.
  • Maintain sanitation of massage room and equipment as required by state board guidelines. Treat all guests with respect and integrity.
  • Follow up with and report any guest challenges.
  • Address all fellow team members with respect and integrity.
  • Assist fellow team members as time allows including sweeping, restocking locker room and refilling beverages.
  • General housekeeping duties are everyone’s responsibility.
  • Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines will be followed.
  • Maintain open communication with Team Lead and Manager as well as other team members.
  • Participate in meetings, educational events and special events.
  • Set an outstanding example as a team member of Reflections Spa (image, attitude, attendance, punctuality, guest service, communication and technical skill).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Licensing for Massage Therapist
  • Flexible Schedule; Part Time and/or Seasonal positions available.
  • Some night and weekend availability required.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Able to perform Massage/Body Services in the shift assigned.
  • Must be able to bend and stand for long periods of time.
