The Event Staff, On-Call is responsible for making the game or event experience optimal for the student-athletes, families and guest.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in various guest service and operational areas related to events and game-day-operations for IMG Academy
- Directly interact professionally with teams, coaches, families, guests, officials, and players during event/games
- Participate in all set up and breakdown activities for games/events
- Roles vary but could include:Stadium Operations: Cleaning Crew, Game Day Give-A-Ways, Ticket Taker, Media Runner, Program Sales, Set up Crew, Photographer
- Game Day Operations: Official Stat Keeper, Home Team Liaison, Video Assistant, Officials and visiting team liaison
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Excellent guest service skills
- Positive attitude
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to work with a variety of people and personalities
- Punctual and reliable
- MS Office experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience or interest in working in events, facilities or sport management
- Bilingual
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of50lbs.
- Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.
- Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
