Job Description

The NA Emerging Payment Products team is hiring a Senior Manager. The NA Emerging Payment Products team is responsible for supporting the Head of NA Product & Strategy in achieving its top priorities, . The Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director, NA Emerging Payment Products and will focus on both strategic and execution-oriented topics.

Specifically, this individual will:

• Assist in the development of perspectives on a range of strategic initiatives related to NA product pricing and product solutions.
• Drive rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support strategic projects and development of executive materials.
• Build strong relationships with product and cross-functional partners, including the NA Product leadership team.
• Build out unique, creative, and impactful solutions in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Support key NA Product OKRs and strategic initiatives and own specific projects as delegated.

This position is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Strong oral and written communication skills, able to craft compelling communications in short time frames.
• Ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor as well as attention to detail.
• Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners.
• Ability to provide strategic recommendations based on fact based, quantitative analysis.
• In depth understanding of Visa core products pricing strategy and two-sided market dynamics.
• Curious and fast learner with a positive can-do attitude

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
