Job Summary

The NetApp Public Cloud Services business unit is at the forefront of guiding customers to the public cloud, striving to deliver the transformational benefits of cloud technology to both existing and new customers. We are expanding our team and are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Product Manager for Azure NetApp Files.


About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will be an integral part of building the next-generation Azure & NetApp co-engineered Azure Public Cloud storage service, known as Azure NetApp Files. Your focus will be understanding customer pain points, prioritizing critical use cases, and leading the definition and delivery of key features into one of the fastest-growing sectors in the industry.

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and partners to define new capabilities and enhancements in Azure Public Cloud storage service.
  • Prioritize feature requests and distill them into well-defined requirements.
  • Engage frequently with customers to understand their needs and act as their advocate in product planning.
  • Understand the cloud ecosystem, storage or infrastructure space, and the enterprise customer perspective on their journey to the cloud.
  • Evangelize products and solutions to customers and industry audiences, from small to large forums.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years in a product management, product marketing, professional services, technical marketing engineering, and/or business consulting.
  • Solid understanding of Azure, automation tooling (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes), and at least one workload area (such as Databases, VMware, HPC (EDA, Oil & Gas, Medical Imaging, Financial Analytics…), General File Sharing, VDI, or AI & Machine Learning).
  • Hands-on understanding of storage, core data protection, and disaster recovery capabilities required for enterprise deployments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners in broad technology areas.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and collaborate across groups to achieve customer success.

Education

  • Typically requires 12 years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelor of Science or Master’s in computer science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 185,040 - 260,040. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
