Stand up Forklift Operator/Order Picker/Machine Operator
Warehouse hours of 6:00AM to 2:30PM shift, 40 hours/week.
Hourly wage: $17.00/hour to start.
Benefits and PTO start on date of hire.
Summary: O perate stand up forklift to put away product and pick product from racks for orders, operate sitdown forklift to unload pallets from trucks and load pallets on trucks, operate balers, trash compactor, and stretch wrap machines, as needed. Reach truck experience a plus.
Responsibilities: Operate stand up and sit down forklifts.
Reading and comprehending instructions/procedures/ putaway documents.
Good communication skills.
Cleaning area and equipment on a regular basis, sweeping and dusting.
Operate balers, trash compactor, and stretch wrap machine.
High School Dipolma or GED is required.
Must complete background check and pass drug screen.
Basic computer skills not required, but helpful
Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and be able to count.
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to lift boxes of weights up to 50 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp with hands, lifting and carrying, bend, climbing up and down, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing and pulling, use close vision, and use depth perception.
Regularly required to use peripheral vision.
Specific tolerance to heights and ability to move material at different heights.
Handle variations in temperature changes of hot to cold.
