Job Description
Are you a Nursing Student in your last Semester or waiting to take the NCLEX? Get your foot in the door as a Nursing Student Tech, working with a diverse aging population at
Oconto Health and Rehab . As a Nursing Student Tech, you will be working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) or the Unit Manager and receive hands-on experience.
*This position requires active enrollment or completion of the nursing program (LPN or RN program) and have completed Pharmacology
Responsibilities
- Answer resident call lights
- Transport residents between designates areas
- Pass out medication and charting
- Assist the Charge Nurse in various direct patient care
Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in a Nursing Program and have completed Pharmacology or have completed the program
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a diverse aging population
