Surgical Tech - Labor and Deliver Part-Time job at Tower Health Reading, PA, US

Job Description

Job Summary

Assists surgical team during operative procedures.
Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.
Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms.
The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
Post High School Diploma Program

Experience * No experience Certification and Licensure

BLS Certification
Certified Surgical Tech (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT (New grads must obtain within 6 months of graduation)
