Job Description

A Pool Service Technician is responsible for maintaining swimming pools and related equipment. They perform routine maintenance, repair damages, and ensure pools are up to safety and health standards. Due to the nature of the job most work will be completed outdoors and will be mobile.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool service or related industry
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of pool and spa equipment
  • Comfortable with basic hand and power tools
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be legal to drive in the US
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Familiar will pool maintenance and tools including but not limited to brushing, skim, vacuum, clean skimmer baskets, pump baskets and the filter (Sand, DE, Cartridge)
  • Must be certified expert in water chemistry.
  • Able to successfully complete licensed service and repair trainings and apply knowledge to work
  • Must be able to service, repair and/or install pool equipment
  • Ability to check for leaks and water loss by visual inspection and pressure tests.
  • Must be able to plumb and repair PVC plumbing
  • Certain trained technicians can receive additional pay if they are certified as pool cover installers.
  • Other duties as assigned
