Duration: 6+ months Job Duties: This engineer will be part of a highly technical team developing test plans, performing functional & electrical validation, and debugging issues for memory controllers, NOC, and other silicon interface features. Execute electrical & functional test plans for client processors using hardware & software validation tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. Debug electrical & functional issues for new processors and provide detailed input into platform definitions and review of platform designs used in silicon validation. Experience and Education: Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3-5 years of related experience; or Master's plus at least 2 years of relevant experience (advanced degree considered a plus). Experience in developing and executing platform-level functional test plans. Preferred: platform-level electrical characterization experience with processor I/O interfaces. Proven ability to debug processor & PC platform I/O interfaces. Experience with oscilloscopes, scripting skills in Tcl or Python, and proficiency with MS Windows and Office. Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and management.
