Role: Tableau Developer with Power BI Knowledge

Location: Pasadena CA - Hybrid (Remote is okay if no availability in Pasadena)

Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our Data Insights & Visualization team. In this role, you will design and build interactive dashboards and data interfaces that empower users to interpret and communicate complex insights. You will work with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable intelligence using modern BI tools and storytelling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Tableau-Focused Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver timely, relevant, and actionable insights.
• Wrangle, analyze, and prepare data from various sources to support visualization and reporting needs.
• Leverage AI-powered visualization capabilities, including GenAI tools, to enhance data interaction and storytelling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Continuously explore and integrate new visualization techniques and tools to improve user experience.
• Mentor team members on best practices in data visualization, analysis, and Tableau development.
• Conduct training sessions to enable business users to utilize data insights effectively.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Tableau and data visualization, contributing to team decisions and cross-functional initiatives.

Power BI Responsibilities:

• Support the development of Power BI dashboards and reports as a secondary visualization platform.
• Assist in migrating or replicating Tableau dashboards into Power BI when required by business needs.
• Ensure data model optimization and performance tuning within Power BI environments.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate Power BI into enterprise reporting workflows.
• Stay current with Power BI features and updates, and recommend enhancements to improve reporting capabilities.
