Job Description

Charter One is seeking a Talent Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, the Talent Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition in all aspects of compensation for all our schools across the country. The ideal candidate will have experience in compensation administration and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • When opening a new school be able to conduct research to ensure the company is up-to-date on market compensation data and prepare findings to share with HR Director and Senior Leadership.
  • Assist HR management with creating budgets for new schools.
  • When opening new schools, be able to create staffing models and present to Executive Leadership.
  • Create and manage salary scales for all school across the country.
  • Conduct yearly compensation analysis for all schools across the country and be able to present to Senior Leadership with recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain reports on compensation data to support business decisions.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on compensation and matters.
  • Oversee and coordinate recruitment for hard-to-fill roles with multiple staffing agencies, managing contracts, and renewals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1 year of recruiting/compensation experience
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills (G suite and Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
