Responsibilities of the Tax Accountant:

• Preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, trusts, estates, fiduciary, individual and various other tax return
• Conducting complex tax research projects for individuals and clients in diverse industries
• Managing a book of business and/or participating in marketing-related activities
• Ensuring complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations and meeting deadlines
• Attending professional development and continuing education sessions on a regular basis

Qualifications of the Tax Accountant:

• Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research
• Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically
• Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and internal relationships
• 3+ years tax experience required in a CPA firm setting
• CPA Certification, or Enrolled Agent Certification is a plus

Location: This role is full-time onsite in Greenwich, CT.
Compensation: $70,000 - $110,000 depending on experience. Creative Financial Staffing
