Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:30pm - 11:30pm. Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Responsibilities include ordering materials BPCS and moving pallets utilizing a forklift from the line to the next process of production; operating a stand-up forklift, pallet jack and able to lift 50lbs max; monitoring weekly progress with schedule attainment and bringing any issues to the attention of the supervisor; escalating issues to supervisor and interacting with EHS and Quality to address any concerns; investigating, correcting, addressing actions, and signing off on weekly 6S audit reports; obtaining rework instructions, training all staff on rework instructions, and providing supervisors with a copy of the sign-in sheet for financial tracking purposes while verifying efficiency of rework; training on how to complete the end of shift production report and communicating to leadership team; monitoring WIP inventory for product codes on the weekly schedule and proactively communicating any concerns; communicating with employees to provide work direction, supervision to understand work direction and maintenance to ensure mechanical issues are addressed timely; performing and monitoring machine cleaning/housekeeping activities; conducting proper shift handoff meeting with incoming Team Leader Specialist communicating any safety, quality, material availability, and scheduling issues; driving a Safety Culture and Quality Culture; coaching team with expectations of adhering to company policies, safety standards, 6S, good housekeeping practices; cross training learning multiple areas/processes in the plant to support production needs; and if required, comprehending batching process from a batch sheet and following to make a batch for production use. Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience preferred; High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred; applies knowledge and company policies to complete a variety of tasks; demonstrates working knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility; maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications; works on moderately difficult assignments requiring judgment; adheres to all quality guidelines; works with limited supervision; may provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members.
