Job Title: TIG Welder
Job DescriptionThe role involves a combination of welding and fabrication tasks, focusing on TIG welding and finishing of stainless steel and other materials. The successful candidate will operate Kuhlmeyer grinding and polishing machines and select and modify software programs to run specific parts on these machines. Additionally, the role includes completing setup tasks, such as acquiring proper fixtures, visually inspecting and measuring parts for accuracy and defects, and performing preventative maintenance tasks.

Work EnvironmentWork during the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday night through Friday morning, with an expectation of 5-10 hours of overtime. The facility is expansive, housing over 300 people in the fabrication department across three shifts. It is recognized as one of the nicest, cleanest, and climate-controlled shops in Wisconsin. Employees have access to an onsite health clinic and a great break room. You will work alongside 2-3 other employees, each operating their own machine in a pod.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Madison, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
