The role is ‘hands on’ and will require you to perform physical activities and manual tasks including (but not limited to) lifting, lowering, walking, bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods, and using hand and power equipment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Able to work on foot for extended periods of time. Forklift licence – preferable. Reliable and strong work ethic. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Capable of lifting 20 kg unassisted. Acceptable knowledge of safety, health and quality principles. Manual Handling techniques. Sound communication aptitude in delivering beneficial teamwork. Medical Assessment required. Current Open Licence and own reliable transport. Q Fever vaccinated. About You: Experience in sheet metal, welding, or fabrication is required. Adhere to WHS Policy and programs to ensure personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace. Adherence to Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Controls (HIRAC) and Safe Work Instructions (SWI). Actively participate in Production and Pre-start meetings. Accountable for adherence to our product Quality Control requirements (First part check) and ensure they are maintained for all production processes. Undertake tasks as instructed and operate appropriate equipment safely and in accordance with all instructions and guidelines, including health and safety. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment supplied as instructed. Fix minor issues, as appropriate, that may arise. Contribute towards the efficient running of the team.
