Position: ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced ALLIED-CST-Certified Surgical Tech for a 13-week contract in Cedar Park, Texas — earn up to ($1590 - $1674 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile environments.

• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.

• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on surgical technologies.

• Monitor and document patient vitals during surgical procedures.

• Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback and metrics.

• Support the surgical team in achieving operational targets and goals.

• Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new surgical staff.

Experience/Qualifications

• Must hold a CST certification from an accredited program.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Experience in a surgical setting, assisting in various procedures.

• Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams and healthcare professionals.

• Proven ability to meet performance metrics and operational goals.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Familiarity with monitoring and documenting patient vitals.

• Excellent communication skills for effective team interaction.

• Willingness to assist in training and orienting new staff members.
