Job Description: CT/X-Ray Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CT/X-Ray Technician to join our imaging department. This role requires a certified individual who can work independently and provide exceptional patient care while operating imaging equipment. The position will involve a mix of shifts, including weekends and nights, with 12-hour shifts typically from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM.

• Services Offered: Cardiology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, OBGYN, Emergency Department, Gastroenterology, Hospitalist Services, Nephrology, Hematology, Urology, Podiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, and Wound Care


• Additional Facilities: Level 2 Nursery


• Accessibility: 3 hours from the NC coast and Blue Ridge Mountains; easy access to Raleigh, Durham, and the Research Triangle region.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and X-Rays, ensuring high-quality images to assist in patient diagnosis.


• Work independently while ensuring patient comfort and safety.


• Collaborate with medical staff to provide excellent patient-centric care.


• Float between X-Ray and CT as needed.


• Maintain equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Certifications: ARRT, RT, CT


• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of independent experience in CT and X-Ray.


• Skills: Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; cheerful and patient-focused personality.


• Education: Certification by appropriate bodies (ARRT).
