Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and active OH or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shifts, working 3 x 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Required to work every other holiday
• Patient care involves telemetry monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation
• All training modules must be completed before starting and annually if assignment is extended
• Fingerprinting and badge pickup to be completed onsite prior to start date
• Locals are accepted at the same bill rate
• Assignments at Cleveland Clinic locations cannot exceed 18 months; a 6-month break is required before returning
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Candidates with facial hair must seek medical or religious exemption for PAPR use

• Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• ECG and safeMedicate testing must be successfully completed during orientation
• One supervisory reference in specialty required for consideration
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted
