We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy IV Technician for a travel assignment in Indiana. This is a 13+ week opportunity at a 100-bed facility with an average daily census of 70.
Schedule
4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
Weekend rotation coverage may be required
Responsibilities
Prepare and restock medications in automated dispensing systems
Compound sterile preparations (IV prep)
Dispense unit dose medications
Obtain and deliver medications to nursing units
Replace and restock code carts
Perform medication stock checks for expired medications
Requirements
Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
2+ years inpatient pharmacy experience
IV preparation experience required
Experience with Meditech preferred (training available)
