Albany Family Medicine is on the lookout for a passionate Triage Registered Nurse to become a vital part of our team! This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM . Plus, after six months of employment, you may have the opportunity to enjoy a hybrid work schedule!

Exciting News! This position is eligible for a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $3,500!

Your Responsibilities

As a Triage Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in patient care. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Documenting verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Accurately and timely entering information into patient records.
• Assessing vital signs and understanding the reason for each patient visit.
• Triage patient phone calls: collect, analyze, and create a well-documented plan of care based on presenting symptoms and expected healthcare outcomes.
• Preparing patients for visits according to office/provider requirements.

Annual Salary Range: $32.00 - $45.50

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Valid NYS RN license.
• Previous experience in an RN role.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
• Familiarity with medical chart reporting and records.
• Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
