Unarmed Security Guard Location New Orleans, LA (Bayou Saint John area) :

CTS SERVICES is seeking friendly, outgoing, motivated and professional licensed UNARMED SECURITY GUARDS to protect people and property to JOIN our important team of unarmed guards. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The selected candidates must posses a genuine passion for helping people, work well under pressure, and the ability to communicate effectively to both attendees and coworkers. We are looking for UNARMED SECURITY GUARDS who will be passionate about what we do, and who are dedicated not just to our clients and attendees but also our team members. The goal is to DETECT , DETER , OBSERVE and REPORT.

Experience:

• High school diploma/GED equivilant
• Unarmed Security Guard:1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 5 years (Preferred)
• Ability to operate a computer (Preferred)
• Knowledge of the daily operations during a convention a PLUS

Responsibilities:

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly restricted areas
• Monitor and control access at restricted entrances
• Occasional data entry
• Perform first aid or CPR

Skills:

• Proven work experience as an unarmed security guard or relevant position
• Trained unarmed security officer licensed through the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (Required)
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and unarmed security procedures and protocols
• Excellent customer service skills
• Surveillance skills and expert attention to detail
• Integrity and professionalism
• Typing and Computer skills a PLUS
• Data entry experience (Preferred).

License/Certification:

• Guard Card (Required)
