Job Title: Receiving Associate

Job Description

The Receiving Associate is responsible for unloading and unpacking incoming shipments, ensuring all processes are conducted efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Unload and unpack incoming shipments.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Manually down stack and restack products.
• Use pallet jack, hand bander, and stretch wrap machine to prepare items for storage.
• Ensure scanning accuracy in all aspects of receiving and material handling.
• Complete and label receiving inspections appropriately.
• Serve as backup to Material Handler.
• Assist in tagging and storage preparation of products.
• Maintain a high level of productivity with little supervision.
• Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as per JHA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, such as inventory documents.
• 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing, shipping, and/or receiving is preferred.
• Detail-oriented.
• Experience with inventory, loading, RF scanner, order picking, and warehouse operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general production and warehouse distribution.
• Familiarity with pallets and unloading trucks.

The work environment is non-climate controlled and can be loud. The working hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.56 - $20.56/hr.
