Alternative Investment Administrator Oversight Analyst
Summary: LHH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented candidate to support Tier 1 investment bank clients and their back-office teams with the operational aspects of banking activities and the processing of trade-related activities. Location: Chicago, IL 60606 – On Site
Compensation: $25.17 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee investor transactions in private equity or hedge fund vehicles to ensure accurate trade-flow reporting to portfolio managers.

  • Evaluate trade waiver and correction requests from sales teams.

  • Facilitate investor trade settlement processes.

  • Assist in oversight of vendor relationships (e.g., fund administrators, transfer agents).

  • Oversee and coordinate resolution of product servicing issues and errors.

  • Implement process improvements and enhancements.

  • Improve internal controls over accounting and operational processes.

  • Enhance the collection, dissemination, and maintenance of product data attributes.

  • Lead ad hoc projects within the Shareholder Services group.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate or undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field.

  • Experience in banking operations.

  • Technologically adept.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • 0-2 years of experience.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure.

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

  • Leadership skills: exchanges information with appropriate people to complete work.

  • Problem-solving skills: solves difficult problems with effective solutions, asks good questions, and probes for answers.

  • Self-development: recognizes personal skills, abilities, limitations, and strengths.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of financial services experience.

  • Knowledgeable about the alternative investment industry.
