We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utility Locator to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. As a Utility Locator, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking the location of underground utilities such as gas, water, sewer, and electrical lines. Your work will play a critical role in preventing accidents and ensuring the success of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Use state-of-the-art equipment and technology to locate and mark underground utilities.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction crews to ensure accurate utility information.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of utility locations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous utility locating experience is a plus but not required; we provide training.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
