Job Summary:
Transporting and parking vehicles in designated valet parking areas. Provides a high level of focus on guest satisfaction through building guest relations and being attentive to guest needs. Responsible for greeting and welcoming all guests in a sincere, professional, and friendly manner. Escorts guests to their room while assisting with the delivery of luggage, and orients guests to the room and the overall property. Offers water and information to guests in the Hotel Lobby.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Greets Casino Hotel guest upon arrival/departure.
- Assist with loading/unloading luggage and opening vehicle doors as needed.
- Answer guests’ questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities, and other available services.
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return.
- Record all pertinent information on claim checks regarding guests’ vehicles and daily transactions.
- Operate/park vehicles safely and responsibly in predetermined areas within the property.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests, guest vehicles and guest belongings.
- Carries and assists with luggage for arriving and departing guests.
- Safe keeps guest belongings in bell closet in accordance with policy, procedures, and service standards.
- Accurately accounts all guest items, properly tags, and stores them in the bell closet.
- Explains amenities to guests upon entry into guest’s room including TV, light, and thermostat controls.
- Explains events, services, amenities, and surrounding areas and anticipates guest needs.
- Adheres to the Hotel Card Key Control Policy 1002 and Hotel Gratuity & Tip Policy 3000.
- Timely drops daily receipts on or after 4:00AM daily to the Cage Department.
- Assists guests during room changes and maintains room security during the process.
- Receives and delivers guest packages.
- Responds to guests’ requests, or inquiries courteously and promptly.
- Routinely cleans and maintains public areas, restrooms, elevators, and front entrance.
- Remains receptive and visible for guest service at all times.
- Takes personal responsibility for delivering excellent guest experience.
- Shares guest feedback with appropriate parties to maintain continuous improvement.
- Welcomes corrective and/or constructive feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Promote outstanding guest and employee relations in accordance with Santa Ana Star Casino Policies.
- Must always maintain a professional image for customers.
- Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers
- Must provide a positive attitude towards the Manger/Supervisor and the Company.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program.
- Must be able to obtain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming Regulatory Commission non-gaming license.
