Job Opening: Non-Union Editor

Creative Dynamic is a fast growing production company based in Naperville, IL, known for producing long-form content such as documentaries, doc-series, unscripted television formats and dynamic branded content. We are seeking a Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and who brings technical precision, stylistic instinct, and storytelling clarity to every cut.

This role is ideal for someone who is fluent in Premiere Pro, understands the complete post-production workflow, and has a strong editorial eye for narrative, rhythm, and pacing across a wide range of content formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit in Premiere Pro, following established workflows for file structure, organization, and version control
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining project timelines
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and graphic artists from concept through delivery
• Build full timelines from interviews, b-roll, motion graphics, music libraries, and scratch audio
• Maintain high standards for visual storytelling, sound mix, pacing, and final finish quality
• Familiar with DaVinci Resolve
• Organize and maintain all project files, versioning, and exports for seamless workflow handoff
• Occasionally assist with simple thumbnail assets, graphics pulls, or social clip cutdowns

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of professional editing in TV, digital, or branded content
• Proficient in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
• Strong editorial sensibility with a track record of stylized, purposeful work—must provide a demo reel or portfolio
• Deep understanding of post-production workflows, media management, and version control
• Passion for editing is essential—experience with food, comedy, culture, or unscripted formats is a plus

Job Type: Full-time, 90 day contract with potential for full time hire. 

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week M-F
