About the role Jotform has been going through an exciting period of growth, with an emphasis on our video marketing efforts. Through consistent scaling, we’ve surpassed 40,000 subscribers on our YouTube channel, and produce a variety of in-house marketing videos, which include newsletters, case studies, ads, product launch announcements, tutorials, podcasts, and more. We’re looking to bring on a full-time, mid-level video producer/editor who can help with production of these types of videos, enabling us to expand our output of quality in-house content. The key objectives of this role include but are not limited to: Help edit, produce and film all in-house video content, including: Perform post-production duties such as reviewing footage, editing, rough cut assembly, color correction, audio adjustment, and final exporting Create motion graphics and animation effects that harmonize with the Jotform brand and aesthetic style Set up and record on-site video productions, both in our San Francisco office video studio and on location (some periodic travel may be required) Bonus: Ability to elevate sometimes dry subject matter to be visually engaging and impactful for our audience Oversee creative video projects and take ownership of production end-to-end Collaborate closely with video team and other marketing departments to align on video initiatives, including ads, tutorials, announcements, newsletters, and more Become an expert on all things Jotform, ranging from our product capabilities to our brand image Organize and manage all produced content on the Jotform server and collaboration platforms (e.g. Trello) What do you need to be successful? 3+ years of video production and editing experience Strong proficiency/familiarity in most, if not all of the following: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Photoshop, Illustrator, Screen Capture Software, Pro Tools, Audition, Maxon/Red Giant Suite/Universe, Color Correction Knowledge (Film Convert, Magic Bullet), Encoding Knowledge (Media Encoder, Handbrake) A solid foundation in the principles of animation and how they can be utilized to create visually engaging work Directorial skills to independently oversee product-focused video projects from start to finish Experience with recording equipment such as cinema cameras, video cameras, audio recorders, microphones, and various lighting equipment Team-player mentality to flexibly collaborate on broader video initiatives with the rest of the video team and other departments Ability to balance work on various ongoing initiatives at the same time, and prioritize projects according to department needs Proficient time management and organizational skills Portfolio of past work with specific details about your contributions Benefits and perks Employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with 4% company match 10 days annual vacation, plus 12 company holidays, and office closure between Christmas and New Year Professional development stipend after one year of employment Monthly commuter benefit stipend Convenient location next to the Embarcadero with a great view of the Bay!
