In 2012 Shionogijoined the company. 76.5% of the company is now owned by GlaxoSmithKline, 13.5% by Pfizer and 10% by Shionogi. We are seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our ViiV HR team! The ViiV HRBP will play a key role in supporting critical business areas to enable the ViiV enterprise priorities by delivering the people agenda. The ViiV HRBP will support the ViiV HRBLs in the delivery of HR initiatives and activities. This role will be based out of ViiV's US Headquarters in Durham, NC (RTP Area) & is eligible for a domestic relocation package. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Talent Partner with HRBLs to execute talent strategies focused on attracting, developing and retaining a strong, diverse talent pipeline. Coach and challenge Sr. leaders to embed effective talent management. Improve leaders’ ability to develop employees, have difficult conversations and manage performance. Capability Provide support on the development of enterprise-wide capabilities that enable the delivery of the business and people agenda. Coaching on HR policies, processes and ways of working in the deployment of identified HR strategies eg business owner leadership role for One80 and ViiV engagement survey. Leadership Partner with the HRBL’s on coaching and development of leadership capability and any leadership development initiatives across ViiV. Culture Coach and influence leaders to execute engagement strategies tied to business and cultural priorities. Develop leaders’ capability to understand how they impact and shift the culture. HR Service Delivery and Risk Management Leadership role in driving standardization and improvement across and within business in order to simplify, evolve and continuously improve HR service delivery, while promoting principles of driving work to the appropriate level (including self-service) in the evolving HR organization. Diagnose and/or deliver change projects as required to drive alignment and performance. Where required, lead on and resolve high risk ER/IR issues and implement strategies to reduce the impact of such issues on our reputation and/or employee engagement. Where required, leading, identifying and mitigating the HR Risk environment in support of the business creating a positive employee environment. HR project work as required to support and enable the business agendas across ViiV. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's Degree & 5 plus years of HR experience Experience designing and delivering HR solutions within talent management, performance management, change management, consultation and reward issues, across a range of functions and job types Experience with Stakeholder Management Employee Relations experience Project Management experience Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Professional accreditation in Human Resource Management Holistic thinker with demonstrable experience from previous roles of understanding the business context Ability to quickly grasp new learning and concepts, cut through complexity and provide high challenge and support. Can deploy systemic thinking to diagnose key areas for change or HR intervention Ability to coach and counsel business leaders through insight, constructive feedback and challenge Experience of handling sensitive issues with a confidential and empathetic manner Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously where required Leading HR standardization initiatives and managing the delivery of services Experience of supporting business through change and understands and manages the employee relations implications of change initiatives. #LI-ViiV
