Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our Technicians Do

• Examine customer vehicles.
• Identify necessary vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Estimate cost of repairs.
• Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
• Investigate reports of vehicle issues.
• Documents services performed.
• Allocate, order, and receive parts for repairs
• Report Vehicle Status in weekly meeting-sessions with management.
• Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Participates in required training (manufacturer fundamental training and/or training provided by Checkered Flag).
• Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests.

Your Pre-Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-4 years of automotive diagnosis and problem-solving experience
• ASE or automotive manufacturer certifications preferred
• State Inspector’s License preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license with 4 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years

Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates.
