Warehouse Manager
Location: Moselle, MS

Position Overview:
A leading manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics. This role will coordinate daily activities to ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity across all warehouse functions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of managing teams, improving processes, and driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages all shipping functions including but not limited to the shipping and receiving functions of the company and the storage of purchased parts / finished goods.
- Management of all shipping processes including assignment, picking, workflow, packaging, and loading. Ownership of efficiencies within this area.
- Participation in projects, directives, issues, and quality requirements related to shipping, packaging and receiving functions.
- Ensures proper daily communication with customer service and sales relating to all customer requirements.
- Develops, establishes, and provides for the maintenance of reporting systems that relate to the shipping, packaging and receiving functions
- Ensures all system transactions are completed timely and accurately in the company’s ERP system(s)
- Develops and utilizes standardized KPIs and management techniques to understand the daily sales, pick, and boxing rates needed to support customer demand
- Reviews daily order book to ensure on time delivery of customer orders and works with other plant supervisors and managers to identify actions necessary to sustain OTD >95%
- Responsible to ensure inventory assets are properly maintained and financial records in the ERP system and company financial statements are accurate and correct
- Implements internal programs such as communications meetings, training, cost reduction, and other programs.
- Develops and maintains an effective organization through selection, training, development, and motivation of assigned personnel.
- Promote safety in work processes and associate performance by supporting company and/or facility safety programs, educating associates and ensuring a safe environment.
- Conducts reviews on a timely basis as it pertains to the direct supervision of the Shipping Clerks, Boxers, Material Handlers, Receiving Clerks, and Warehouse office personnel.
- Disciplines employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Involvement and support of inventory control, purchasing, and packaging production as needed.
- Analyzes and reports the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes.
- Promotes and supports cross-training. This includes training, managing need and workloads, maintaining documentation related to hours worked and productivity standards.
- Other miscellaneous duties as required by supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in materials management, warehouse, shipping, or distribution management.
- Strong experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of logistics, warehouse layout, shipping capacity, and routing optimization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Must display a high level of maturity and sound judgment.
- Must have experience with KPI’s along with prior experience using an Inventory Management System.
Compensation:
- Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
