Wastewater Treatment & Water Treatment Operator (One Position Open In Sacramento County)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Candidate must have at least 3-years' experience as a wastewater treatment and water treatment plant operator that includes experience working with membrane process plants and SCADA controlled systems.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: California Grade II Wastewater Operator Or Higher & California Treatment T-2 Or Higher & California Distribution D-2 Or Higher
Job responsibilities for this position are as follows: Conduct operational tasks at wastewater treatment and water treatment plants. At wastewater treatment plants this includes operating and monitoring the wastewater treatment plant process equipment, such as: pumps, motors, blowers, mixers, mechanical screens etc. to ensure that treated wastewater meets treatment objectives. At water treatment plants this includes operating and monitoring the water treatment and distribution system process equipment, such as: pumps, motors, chlorine system, analyzers, generators etc. to ensure that the water treatment and distribution objectives are met.
Required qualifications include: High School Diploma or GED, at least 3-years experience working as a wastewater and water treatment operator, California drivers license with clean record, able to operate all wastewater and water treatment equipment, interpret field and analytical test results, effectively communicate and demonstrate mathematical competence, mechanical ability, problem solving and good communication skills.

Position includes a Company vehicle with paid drive time.
