GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is skilled work in the operation and maintenance of wastewater reclamation facility, reuse facilities, collection systems and lift stations. Includes assisting in both preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, machinery and related apparatus. Works in supervisory capacity occasionally when and where appropriate. Example: supervision of trainees, special projects. Work is carried out under the general supervision of the Chief Wastewater Operator and is reviewed through observation, conversation, and evaluation of results achieved.

Cleaning of clarifiers, sand filters, landscaping, maintenance of irrigation systems, building, house-keeping, maintaining appearance inside and out.

EQUIPMENT USED
Water Reclamation Facility process control equipment including chlorine residual analyzer, turbidity analyzer, pH analyzer, and laboratory testing equipment. Power, hand tools, and equipment used in the operation and maintenance of the facilities.
