The City of Blair is seeking reliable and proactive Water Treatment Plant Operators to join our team! With multiple openings available, this full-time position offers the chance to play a key role in ensuring clean, safe water for our growing community and bio-campus. • Operate and maintain our state-of-the-art Water Treatment Plant, currently processing 20 million gallons daily and expanding to 27 million gallons.
• Monitor and control plant systems, including SCADA, to manage equipment and processes.
• Conduct water quality testing and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform maintenance on plant equipment, such as pumps and feeders, and support general facility upkeep.

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• One year of experience in maintenance or mechanical work (preferred).
• Ability to obtain a Grade 4 Water Operator License within six months of hire (training provided).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.

• Competitive pay range: $27.74 - $33.96 per hour , based on experience.
