**This is a temporary 40 hour / week position with potential for full time hire.

If this sounds like you, you may be a perfect fit for the Web Designer position at CGI Digital!

In this role, you will be creating captivating website concepts and transforming them into digital realities that are both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly, from build-out to client hand-off.

You will be collaborating first-hand with project coordinators, content writers, web support specialists and of course, your fellow web design wizards to make a smooth, seamless experience for our excited clients.

With your innate creativity as your compass, you'll weave visual narratives that bring our clients' stories to life. From concept to execution, you'll be the architect of modernization, breathing new life into websites and fulfilling requests with flair.

**A Professional Portfolio is Required**

Your typical day-to-day includes…

• Conceptualizing and designing websites built in WordPress, utilizing the Divi theme builder.
• Revising and customizing website features and functionalities using HTML and CSS.
• Interpreting the clients’ vision and bringing it to life.
• Collaborating with your fellow web designers to come up with creative and innovative solutions.
• Being the go-to-website creator for all things visual.

You’re probably perfect for this role if…

• You have experience with WordPress and visual builder themes (experience with Divi Theme Builder is awesome too!).
• You have knowledge of mobile design principles and can produce mobile-friendly websites for clients of all types, whether they are dentists or professional bakers.
• You understand HTML/CSS. Some jquery would be a plus.
• You can interpret the client’s vision, package it and turn it into a visual reality.
• You possess a relentless work ethic.
• You can quickly fluctuate between working independently and with a team.

Extra points if…

• 1+ years of experience in Web Design / Graphic Design
• Experience with Shopify
• Upcoming Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Web Design / Graphic Design
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a creative environment or internship!
