Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Yard Monitor to join our team in Brampton. The Yard Monitor is responsible for overseeing the activity and flow of traffic within the warehouse or distribution yard. This role plays an important part in maintaining safety, organization, and communication between the yard and warehouse teams.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and direct the movement of vehicles and equipment within the yard
Log and verify documentation such as arrival/departure times and seal numbers
Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to support smooth operations
Maintain yard cleanliness and enforce safety standards
Report any issues or irregularities to supervisors
Requirements:
Strong communication and coordination skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Ability to work independently and outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety
