We are looking for an experienced Accounting Project Manager to oversee critical financial operations and ensure the accuracy of general ledger activities and financial reporting. Based in Dallas, Texas, this role will require a strong ability to lead accounting processes, supervise teams, and collaborate with various stakeholders, including external auditors and internal departments. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial analysis, account reconciliations, and audit management.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the accounting operations for a designated region or area, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all related processes.
• Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Review and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform final reviews of account reconciliations, providing constructive feedback and addressing discrepancies.
• Supervise and guide accounting tasks in an outsourced environment, maintaining high standards of performance.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external audit activities, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and supporting documentation for assisted entities.
• Act as a liaison between facility leadership, outsourced vendors, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Identify and address reconciling items, escalating issues when necessary to ensure resolution.
• Communicate key financial information to relevant stakeholders across the organization.• Proven experience with month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Expertise in managing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Familiarity with coordinating and managing financial statement audits.
• Skilled in preparing and reviewing journal entries.
• Ability to work effectively in both in-house and outsourced accounting environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail in financial operations.
